The Vessel

A swan on
Victoria Harbour

The OBLUE SEASIGHT 35 is a pure-electric sightseeing catamaran that combines harbour touring with water transport — a swan-inspired silhouette with LED lighting for nighttime voyages, zero emissions and near-silent running.

Delivered in 2025, she is Hong Kong's second fully government-funded electric ferry, run by a Hong Kong harbour sightseeing operator on Victoria Harbour.

  • Three sightseeing decks for 228 passengers
  • Air-conditioned VIP cabins and a 360° open-air deck
  • Twin azimuth drives — effortless 360° rotation
  • 7 h charge for 22 h at 8 knots, ~176 nm range

01

Swan-Inspired Silhouette

Sweeping arches trace a swan's neck along the superstructure — traced in LED lighting after dark, turning the vessel itself into part of the harbour nightscape.

02

Pure-Electric Endurance

Advanced batteries with an intelligent thermal management system: a 7-hour charge delivers 22 hours at 8 knots and roughly 176 nautical miles of range.

03

Azimuth Manoeuvrability

Twin 130 kW motors on azimuth drives give exceptional manoeuvrability — the ferry can rotate a full 360° on the spot between crowded harbour piers.

04

Three Decks of Views

Air-conditioned VIP cabins with sofa-style seating and panoramic windows, a bar, and a 360° open-air deck — 228 guests facing the skyline.

General Arrangement

every seat a view
